Cowboys Prepare to Face New Mr. Philadelphia

November 1, 2007

Move over, Donovan, because somewhere along the line, you surrendered your team. Yes, we all remember that play where you scrambled left and weaved right and bought a hot dog from a vendor and munched it down before finally finding Freddie Mitchell for a 60 yard touchdown. We know you have been a thorn in our side almost since the day you came into the league.

But, come Sunday, Dallas isn’t going to be worried about Donovan McNabb. They’ll keep their eyes open for him, and they’ll have a plan to keep him contained, but it isn’t going to be McNabb that they will be worried about.

The new Mr. Philadelphia is Brian Westbrook. With a 4.9 yards per carry average, Westbrook has amassed 536 yards and 3 TDs. Now, alone, that isn’t incredibly impressive. After all, we are almost halfway through the season. But add to that total 345 receiving yards and another 2 TDs and you have a guy that has produced almost 900 total yards for the team.

Westbrook will be the focus for the defense, because if they can stop Brian Westbrook, they will stop the Eagles.
